Iggys Down Under

We arrived at Iggys at around 2pm, there was no line and we were just in time to grab one of the last loaves of their famous bread. It was delicious, a crispy crust, chewy sour hints, it was yum! Loved the bread and will definitely come back!

Iggy's would have to be the most overrated bakery in the Eastern Suburbs. Their sour dough is chewy and the flavour is ordinary by world standards. Judging by the long ques, I must a be a minority voice, but I've tasted the best from Europe and this doesn't even come close.

If you're a local you already know that this is the place to get your bread. Iggys is hands down the best bread in the area. I love it that there is always a line out the front when i get there (you can't go inside anyway) and the staff are very pleasant to deal with even tho they are always swamped with customers.

I recommend grabbing a bread-stick before heading down to the beach for a swim. perfect local treasure.
