Our trip to Ikea today, took up most of our time. This emporium of homewares is just astonishing. We went for the purpose to find a light fitting. We ended up enjoying an affordable lunch, and coffee. Spent hour wandering around just viewing the merchandise. If you can think of something for you Home they will have it. We found it a little difficult to find staff that could help us. This is just a huge place where the emphasis is on self serve, pay at the check out.
My friend has just moved out so I have been accompanying him to Ikea lately – so many new and cool house items that I want to buy but have to resist because I don’t need them. There are a couple of items though I am looking at purchasing in the new future, just have to clear up my messy space in my unit and make room for them before I buy it. They make everything look so good and work well in Ikea, and what makes it more tempting is the prices – everything is priced very well, very reasonable.
It's been a while since I've needed to come here to Ikea but now have reason to - furniture shopping for a new place! So many things to choose from, decisions to make, ideas to take from! They make all their made-up rooms look so good and utilize the space very well. I came here on the weekend in hopes to find somethings for the new place and purchase them but I walked out empty handed but with numerous items in mind that I liked. I definitely will be coming back, just a matter to make some hard decisions now. Ikea has so many great options and a good range to choose from.
Fun fun fun time to shop with out kids.
Was able to shop in peace and take everything in.
Had an awesome lovely young chick help in the bathroom section with my cabinet and basin. She was more than happy to bend over backwards to help me find a sink that would fit the cabinet, until I was happy.
lets face it, i think we all have our own experience with Ikea. and although on this experience everything was awesome because it was school holidays and they provided FREE entertainment for the kiddies, the products are a whole other discussion.
the shop its self was clean and tidy! there were staff around in the display sections of the shop. however very limited staff down in the market hall (where you collect things to buy) the food is VERY average. but with school holidays, it makes for a great cheap day out with some sort of entertainment. so for this occasion, it wins a 2 thumbs up by my 5 year old!
