Though they offer all the classic Italian staples, pasta veal chicken etc, it is the pizza that created the biggest buzz.

While Il Cugino may not be the "flashest" restaurant in the area, the food there is hard to beat. Very traditional meals, great serving sizes and fresh food. The pasta has just the right amount of sauce, and the pizza bases are thin and crispy. If you dine here, make sure you have cash as they do not have Eftpos.
We are locals and eat at Il Cugina all the time. The restaurant is kid friendly - if you ask nicely the guy making the pizzas will give the kids some dough to play with. The kids love it! The food is basic but really fresh and good quality. The restaurant is always full of locals which is always a good sign. BYO - excellent!
