Il Porto Trattoria Restaurant

Hmmm...wrong from start to finish! Service wasn't great. Food was ordinary!! However my husband did comment that his seafood was very fresh and he enjoyed his main. As for the sticky date pudding...I am an expert on the subject... I have eaten it all over the country and world. And the one he served me was neuked within an inch of it's life and you can buy frozen from Coles! will never return! There was about 16 of us... And all in agreeaance! I will also add that this visit was 12 months ago. It may have improved or changed hands... One can only hope!

Awful, absolutely awful.

Staff were friendly. The place smells old, the decor is not authentic, it is old and damaged. My backrest was broken on the velour chair, and mine was not the only one. Visited the same place in 2006 - i certainly remember it being much better than this. Time to fix it up.

magnificent :) this restaurant is awesome. the staff are very friendly and were all able to answer my questions about ingredients and allergies, they were also very helpful not only in taking our orders for food but also drinks. the cocktails and wines were nice, bread was lovely and fresh, would especiall recommend the brushetta mmmmmmmmm. entrees were delicious, the napoleta sauce was the best i have had. mains were great the whole 6 of us loved them. we tried the veal, pasta, risotto, and the specials and each dish was superb. Tony i dont know what ur talking about. desserts were also to die for haha sticky date pudding and its butterscotch sauce oh my god yummmmmmmmm, the no one else shared there desserts but rave recommendations were recieved. most definitly will return here and would highly recommend :)

My wife and I dined there last evening. The experience was less that satisfying. The seafood risotto was awful. Staff were friendly but the food was ver poor overall. I would suggest the cook looks closely at the quality of the food AND the presentation....the risotto looked like it was just dropped onto the plate.

As I said, the staff were friendly but they too need a little coaching. For example how does a diner decide if they would like the 'back-ee-o' if in fact it's mean to be the 'bacio'?

No kisses from me I'm afraid....I will not be going back nor recommending it to any friends....just the oppopsite!

Had a fantastic meal there last night. Staff were excellent. Meals appropriately priced.
