Staff are really friendly and polite and the restaurant was nice and clean. Easy to get a reservation. Pricing and menu also are reasonable. We had a beautiful mohito and fresh pineapple juice but that's where it stopped.
The bruschetta entree was tasteless and cut in large chunks and the tomatoes were soft like they were old.
The pasta mains that we ordered were flavourless and the seafood in the pasta was completely over cooked. I actually sent mine back to the kitchen and asked for it to be removed from the bill.
Disappointing to say the least - maybe try the pizza instead or there were some cheap lunch specials.
We are not from the area so actually travelled specifically to go to Il Vivo. Restaurant is Noisy, overlooks the car park and is attached to a shopping centre full of colourful locals. This was not the experience we had hoped for from our research.
We dined here this evening for dinner and I must say I wasn't to impressed with the food. The food was beyond average. The seafood platter was bland, the lamb on the Greek pizza was dry and the steak Diane was average. I was also disappointed when I ordered coke from the drink menu and took my first sip and realised they were serving cola. I was further disappointed when the bill arrived and they charged us $48 for 4 jugs of cola. On their website they claim to have "the ingredients of a memorable experience", I must say this is true, I will NEVER forget that I had to pay $48 for 4 liters of cola!!!
I've being going here to the past year and have found that staff are nice however they are not attentive. Have to raise your hand quite high to be noticed
Food on the other hand is average. They did forget my meal once... but that night was really busy...
I mainly go here because its convenient and normally quick
We dined here tonight....Appalling Service,Noisy, Lovely View Of Car park. For $94 we had very average food entree was ok but our mains which was Pasta was Bland bordering on Bad....Not once did a wait staff come & see if we where happy we even had to ask for a fork & napkin as the pasta came out with a Soup Spoon! Also we requested water twice and when went use the salt it was empty. So take our advice go elsewhere!
I had my daughters birthday tonight and I ordered 10 pizzas and 6 pasta dishes, I ordered over the phone they had it ready for the time arranged pick up. All visitors commented highly of the food and I must admit great food, great service and great price. Thank you Il Vivo to all staff.
