ImagingWorld ??? Canon 5 D, Canon 550D, Nikon D90

Ordered a Canon lens from Imaging World two weeks before I went overseas. Darren assured me it would take 3-5 days to arrive in Australia. I tried to get a tracking number from Darren over the next few days but he wouldn't give me one. He finally admitted there were none of these lenses in stock in the warehouse. I reminded Darren again that I was going overseas in a week's time and if the lens wasn't already on it's way, to cancel the order. The lens finally turned up two days after I left the country. Now Imaging World are ignoring my e-mails and not returning my telephone calls. Have they gone out of business?

We placed an order last night after a week of review, resource and decision making. We decided to order our Canon product with an Australian based online site instead of spending our money offshore The item was in stock at a comparable price & we made the order online. I received a call this morning to say "so sorry, but due to Supply and Demand with the Japanese crisis the price stated on our order will not be honored. He stated he was having his technicians update the price on the website and we were welcome to re-order at a higher price. I called the Office of Fair Trading and they confirmed that a Quote or Order is legal and binding. I emailed the company, stating this fact along with a PDF from the Office of Fair Trading website. After numerous phone calls we finally were able to get in touch with someone, only to be told "Don't tell me how to run my business, (then in a more raised voice) take your business elsewhere and hung up".
