IMO Car Wash

I just had the worst customer service experience at IMO North Strathfield (213 Parramatta Road).

I wound my window down for the washer to finish up at the car in front of me and to approach me for service and payment. However, he who served me literally shouted at me by means of greeting upon arrival at the wash bay - All in one breath - "Drive to the right! Window down! Listen to me! Do you understand what language I'm saying to you? Put your car in neutral!". When I stared back at him in shock, he proceeded to maneouver my steering wheel, and asked me again if I understood "his English language". I reminded him twice to please not to be rude to me, he denied being rude and told me he simply was instructing me. I had wanted to purchase their highest priced wash, but settled for their express wash instead. Will never return.

Please dont go here. I went there to do the 20 dollar machine wash. Went through it, came out and one of my car lights fell out. The machine actually broke one of the light prongs, whipped my lights out and now it doesnt turn on anymore. And of course IMO refuses to pay for it. DO NOT believe their scratch free and injury free policy, they will absolutley not pay for the damage, instead they'll just find a reason. I would definitely not reccomend this place, very risky and very poor business.

Went through their 'manned machine'. The 'man' is just someone who tells you to put your aerial down and cleans a bit of stuff off. The machine itself does an OK job but I still had minor dirt on the car & I can't be absolutely sure it didn't leave minor scuff marks. I guess you get what you pay for - it is cheap, and the car was cleaner than when I started...

Got the top of the range wash with tyre shine. For $19 it was ok but there were a few patches missed. The tyre shine left streaky marks all over my alloys. They don't take cash which is a pain and because it's an automated car wash I don't recommend going through it on a hot day as you'll have to sit sweltering with the engine off. I'd rather pay a few dollars more and get a hand car wash and vacuum.

These guys are absolutely brilliant! Absolutely no complaints from me they are very friendly and provide a quick and efficient service. They are also very fairly priced. Best of all they have a buy 5 car washes/ details and get the 6th on e of a similar value free awesome! I have actually cashed in on the freebie and they are true to their word and dont cut corners when it is a freebie which is highly commendable. The guys who work at this location in particular are very pleasant and hardworking, they also treat you car with respect almost as if it was their own. I have absolutely no hesitation recommending them and further suggesting that you can trust them with your car and property. For instance, once I unconsciously left about $40 in the open section just under the ashtray when I left my car. On my return, the money was still there down to the last 5c.
