Horrible experience to share...
The current lease ends on 02 July 2019. On 20 June 2018, more than 1 year before the end of the lease, I asked the property manager to notify the tenants to vacate the property by the end of the lease. The property manager replied, "We will contact the tenants to advise them that you will be selling at the end of their fixed term at which time we will be issuing an 8 week notice to vacate." I asked if 8 weeks were enough, and further said "As far as I can find, it requires 26-week notice. And either way, I think it doesn't hurt to notify them now." I had a bad experience dealing with independent property management. I had a similar experience to the below review. No one communicates to each other and you are always dealing with different people. They were not helpful when trying to finialise our rental amount balance and it took over a month to get our rental bond money back because they didnt complete the form correctly. Save yourself the hassle and find a property that is not managed by them. They are rude, have no idea what they are doing and you constantly have to chase them up for things.
I had an awful experience with Independent Property Group. Their agents disappear without responding to emails and then someone else contacts you and you have to explain the same things. They are unhelpful mainly because their group is a mess and nobody communicates with others.
