We visit here often for takeaway and dine in (on and off for the last 10 years - more regularly now that we live nearby) and are always happy with everything. When we take our 2 year old in they are always accommodating and the food is out fast enough that she remains well behaved (a must for dining out parents!). If you like a mix of traditional and more well known Indian dishes then this is a great place to try. Ps. try the vege pakoras - mind blowing!
3 of us dined there and it was half full. We waited for almost an hour or so for our first dish. We started munching on the pappadums. The host was kind enough to refill our pappadum bowl at her insistence.
The food is good, and average. The surprise was during the bill; we were charged $2.50 for each pappadums. Then it sunk in that the host wanted us to eat more pappadums even when we didn't order them in the first place.
The 3 of us paid $89 for 2 dishes, 3 basmati rice and 1 mango lassi. We felt duped.
