Indian Brothers (Morayfield)
We ordered the $39 takeaway meal from the morayfield shop. We were really unhappy with what we got. There was hardly any meat in the butter chicken and it was sickly sweet. The vindaloo was sour and hardly edible. The raita tasted like sugar. Service was incredibly slow considering there was nobody but us in the shop.
ive been to indian brothers at clontarf and now morayfield. there may not be loads of "atmosphere" in either restaurant but the food is fine. i had chicken passanda, chicken pakora and cauliflower pakora. their chicken pakora is the closest thing to KFC, and no gluten [gee i miss KFC]. staff were friendly and it was cheap. also liked the genuine tandoori oven thing you can watch cooking. thumbs up.
Visited last week with group of 8 people.
Wow, what a night it was. The food was really authentic, not like the other restaurants who pretend to be cooking Indian food.
Try the roasted garlic naan, really good stuff.
Lamb cutlets from entree section were really good. For the main I tried the sizzling garlic prawns which again were outstanding. They came out on smoking sizzler plate which gave out great aroma.
In desserts, I personally had traditional warm Gulab Jamun with scoop of ice cream.
The service was great with the wait staff paying attention to small details like refilling our empty water bottles and topping up our wine glasses.
Looking forward to visiting the restaurant again.
