Indian Mahal

A slightly tired however clean restuarant greets the patron on first inspection. The service here is faultless, friendly, professional and quick. In saying that I do not know how well service is supplied in more busy periods as we dined on a Thursday evening and the establishment was near empty. A Television was fixed to the front of the dining area and was showing the news?. This practice in some restaurants is a little concerning and detracts from the ambience and experience of dining out. In all the food tabled to my partner and I was average in terms to many other Indian restaurants we have visited. Where the experience did fail was the quality of the meat in the dishes. My beef was 'fatty' and contained high amounts of gristle. My dining companion reported the chicken as 'old' and tough.
