This is another one of those coffee shops that I just accidentally stumbled across, but the it probably has something to do with having worked out where the pubs were and as I was visiting the pubs I suddenly see what happens to be a really cool coffee shop nearby and decide to go and have a drink there. I ended up having my usual cup of tea (namely because I can only drink so much coffee) and it was okay, not the best, but at least I was able to remove the tea leaves. However I do have to say that I did quite like the atmosphere in the place – it certainly was interesting. Also the front window could be opened so it wasn't going it be hot and stuffy inside. It was a nice quiet place, and did enjoy sitting here.
Nicely laid out space in delightful McMahons Point. Plenty of seating out side and inside, and the staff are very polite.
We had dinner here recently, I appreciate that it's BYO and the barramundi I had was actually very fresh and tasty.
Good desserts too. I've also had takeaway coffee from here early in the morning and it's always hot and does
the trick.
Highly recommended braised beef cheek risotto, walk past this place everyday on the way up work down the road, generally grab a toast and coffee from here which is always real nice and consistent. Some friends from work decided to go here got lunch today and it was a really pleasant change to the other places on the street good to see s nice fresh seasonal menu and slso the best sticky date sandwich ( yup it was a Sandwich and a really yummy one with some salted caramel sauce and house made vanilla bean ice cream)
I have read s few other comments earlier on and totally disagree we were pleasantly greeted sbd had a lovely overall experience.
I think people need to stop complaining andcappreciate the hard work cafe staff put in. I have been a waitress at uni and even before I got into marketing.
Indulgent sage out table absolutely loved their experience and highly recommend it.
