At Inner West Art and Play Therapy we provide a safe, welcoming and exciting therapy environment for children, young people and their families. Our experienced staff have specialist training in delivering high quality counselling services to the community. We specialize in creative approaches in therapy to enhance functioning and promote wellbeing for a range of emotional, mental health and family problems.

We are registered with Medicare and can offer a significant rebate for
clients with a referral and a Mental Health Care plan from a G.P.
Other therapeutic approaches which may be part of the treatment
include; cognitive behavioural therapy, dialectic behavioural
therapy, relaxation techniques, goal setting,psycho-education,
motivational interviewing, solution focused therapy, behavioural programs for use at home and school, skills training, family interventions and sensory
processing techniques.

At Inner West Art and Play Therapy we personalise each treatment plan based on our child inclusive counselling sessions. We ensure each individual plan is linked to identified clinical outcomes and goals and support you and your child to achieve them.
