Sydney and Illawarra based Kinesiologist Jasmin Choice helps her clients gain clarity, calm and empowerment. Jas provides a safe, welcoming and judgement-free space for adults and children with physical and emotional manifestations of stress.

Jasmin was once an anxious child herself so she has an inherent understanding of and compassion for anxious children. Jasmin has a wonderful ability to connect with kids, make them feel calm and talk to them in their terms.

She equally loves working with adults, using gentle client-centred counselling and TCM to identify unresolved subconscious stress, then using muscle monitoring, gentle acupressure and somatic body work to help release where the stress is stored in the body. Your child's first session will focus on building trust and gentle body work to help calm your child's nervous system.

Following sessions will involve simple movement based tests to assess your child's neo-natal reflexes. Identifying any poorly integrated reflexes is the first step in addressing your child's symptoms, for e.g. an active Moro reflex will elicit anxiety, hypersensitivity and sensory sensitivity, as well as difficulty sleeping and learning.

For anxiety and reactive emotions not related to neo-natal reflexes, we will use 'biofeedback' to identify any underlying unresolved stress causing your child's symptoms. Stress may be biochemical (diet, medical history and environment), structural, neurological or emotional.

As kinesiology is a mind-body modality, adult sessions will be part discussion (gentle counselling to identify limiting beliefs), and part body work (acupressure, meridian massage and rhythmic movement techniques).
