My recent experience here was this: On my first visit I paid $100 for X-rays plus $175 for a toothbrush (yes a toothbrush!) that I didn't really need - but that's on me, I should have just said no... That day, after consultation and X-rays Dr quoted me $300 - $400 to have two teeth removed the next day. The next day however, AFTER the extractions (which took 45 minutes) and with no mention of any extra charges, the reception staff took my bank card and told me it would be "$825 please" (this is on top of the $275 the day before). I queried this straight away and Dr came out to explain. Dr said that it took extra time and did extra cleaning. Dr also had me see the hygienist after the extractions which at no point did they tell me was going to cost me $150 (for an 8 minute conversation and a 1 minute look in my mouth).
