Intercontinental Hotel

We had high tea at this hotel with the girls. The hotel itself is gorgeous and the conceirge etc are great. However, the the high tea was lacking. The cakes and sweets were terrible. They tasted and looked like they had been made a week a go and pulled out of a freezer on the day. Some cakes looked as if they had fallen apart and put together again and some tastes stale. The only dessert was the fresh fruit that you could dip in chocolate. The waitresses were not very good either, they couldn't answer basic questions about what we were eating and the service was poor.
The room that the hight tea was in was gorgeous.

We enjoyed at high tea at this hotel put on by Babyology. The room was enormous so fit a lot of people, the foyer and general areas of the hotel were very classy with lots of marble. The food was a little lacking however. I only enjoyed about half of what was on offer but that is personal taste. The service was fine.
