Every day there are many entrepreneurs, inventors, and creative folk across Australia and around the world generating new artistic concepts, ideas, projects, or products. Usually their biggest hurdle is the money required to get them from concept to reality. Even with the assistance of grants and angel investors, these early stage ideas don't usually get to see the light of day.

Worse still - traditional financial institutions are averse to early stage projects due to the high failure rates and lack of financial security.

iPledg is a crowd funding business, based on a PLEDGE funding model.

iPledg provides project creators with an accessible online platform to raise more money, enabling those folk to turn their passions into a funding campaign, promote their idea / product, engage a fan base, and hopefully, get funded.

iPledg has also brought together a community of engaged and independent service providers - all of whom are professionals who are keen to see great ideas develop, and who are prepared to offer their services at reduced rates to assist project creators in planning and executing their funding campaigns and the initiatives they support.

The process starts with a project creator who creates a project online and indicates how much funding is required to complete that project and in what timeframe they wish to raise those funds (between 30 and 120 days). A pledge is not an investment, nor is it a donation (except in the case of a registered charitable organization) so it is not bound or encumbered by traditional legislation.
