Ippudo

Located in Central Park, it is in the dining precinct on the lower ground. The service is friendly and efficient.

Had the Pork Buns, Gyoza, and Chashu Gohan. The pork is delicious in all the dishes and the signature buns were yummy as usual.

One of the top ramen places that i would recommend. Ive been here almost every time when in chippendale. Good variety of ramen to pick from. Great broth flavours and decent portion size. Quick speedy hot ramen never had i have to wait for longer than 20 minutes. If you need a ramen fix then i definitely recommend Ippudo. Wont be disappointed. My all time favourite would be the classic pork one with a bit of bamboo and egg. Yummy

Opening its second Sydney shop at Central Park, this new Ippudo has a far brighter atmosphere than the first shop. The ambience is less lounge-like and more of a suburban restaurant feeling, even though it is still coupled with piano music on the background. The Japanese aspect of it seems to have gotten lost in translation. It is also perhaps because of this that the place is less crowded than its original store.

We went there on a Sunday afternoon for a quick lunch and they were having a $15 lunch special at that time. We had the akamaru shinaji with tamago (basically one of their ramen ranges served with an egg). The portion was quite large and the soup base was very flavoursome. The egg was just very delicious and beautifully made (with the egg yolk still a little runny.

The service was pretty good as the staffs were friendly and polite.
