I had a painful UTI develop during the day and needed to see a doc ASAP....I phoned up at 7 and was able to get an appointment to see the doc at 8.10. There was a gap of $20 or something between what Medicare paid and the fee, but it was worth it to be tucked back up in bed with my anti-UTI drugs in no time. :) The after hours doc was lovely too.
