Dr Desai is a General Surgeon with experience and training from Australia, New Zealand, UK & India. During his training in Australia and overseas, he has worked in major tertiary specialised surgical units of intrernational repute. Having run a busy practice as a Consultant General Surgeon in public and private sectors in New Zealand for the past several years, he has recently moved to Brisbane to take up the position of Clinical Director of Surgery at Ipswich Hospital.
Dr Desai is a member of the Australasian Society for Breast Diseases & associate member of the Breast Section of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (RACS).
