For larger jobs eg: if 6 or 8 cubic metre skip bins are required we can supply 2 x3 cm bins @ the same price as a 6 cm bin and also 2 x 4 cm bins @ the same price as a 8 cm bin. This allows for more flexibility as bins can be placed at various locations on your property.
Your standard hire period is 1 week but we can pick up the bin sooner or it can be left longer depending on your requirements.

I have used Island Bins for the first time and thought the service was particularly friendly and professional. I hired a skip for garden rubbish and thought the cost was quite reasonable. I was very happy that there wasn’t a weight limit on green waste. I compacted my garden scraps into that skip and was surprised how much I fitted in. It was dropped off on the day I requested it and was picked up just as efficient.
I was a little apprehensive because there was a bad review. The poor review was due to using the garden bin as well as construction materials in one garden bin. This required extensive sorting which explained the extra cost. I was reassured that there was no extra charge when the bins are used for their purpose. At first look they seem to be great value, but that's because they get you later with their not-well-advertised weight limits on their bins. If your bin is over 150kg per cubic metre, you get stung. Plus they don't provide you with any proof of your bin's weight, it's their word against yours, and the extra charge is just automatically taken off your credit card. Would not use again for this reason.

I didn't know your review was here thus the late reply.
You're correct there is a sting in the tail supplied by the tips high dumping fees.
When pricing bins on the phone we ask customers what sort of waste they have and always explain weight limits as dumping charges can add up fast in overweight bins. When ordering on the internet we explain tip fees as detailed below:
PLEASE NOTE:
There will be an additional $87.00/tonne (pro rata) charge for loads exceeding 125kg per cubic metre
Once you have ordered your bin we send an email receipt and on that receipt we state your tip fee allowance and we also leave a information sheet explaining about charging for overweight skip bins. If asked we can supply a proof of weight receipt from the tip we have used stating date, time, weight and cost.
