Island Oasis

Nice ice cream, pity about the customer service, rude and a strict one tasting only even when you want more than one scoup ruins the experience sadly wouldn't recommend plenty of other shops to go to

As far as quick, non-fuss dairy treats go, the 'Island Oasis' Ice-creamery in Cowes, (on Philip Island) hits the spot. It is only a small store, situated on the lower, Westernport Bay end of the town's main shopping strip, and probably easy enough to miss in the car. However, it's situation is perfect when walking up the hill from the shore or the ferry wharf. There's limited space in the store making it definitely more suited to a take-out crowd. They serve a very thick, quite rich vanilla milk shake. And whilst a vanilla malt thick shake trumps a plain vanilla shake any day, in our family, it was still a very good shake. A great selection of icrecream and other sweets and dessert items, makes it a popular choice in the summer months on Victoria's holiday island, - so be prepared to take away your selection rather than eat in. Parking right outside the door.

Yummy yummy yummy, The food is great - when you first see this place the outsid eis a bit industrial but the food is great and has a great environment over summer when the town is buzzing. the kids love it and it is large enough to have a function
