Expensive, Dirty and Isolated.
This place is an absolute dump. We had to pay a $60 cleaning fee in addition to the nightly rate, yet the place had not been cleaned. The toilet was dirty and there were crumbs all over the sofas. I'm pretty sure the cleaning fee goes straight in the owners pocket.
We had a voucher to stay here which entitled us to $90 a night, a BBQ pack and bottle of wine. The BBQ pack was frozen so we couldn't use it, not that I wanted to use the kitchen. The place was so dirty I couldn't wait to get home so I could have a shower and wash my clothes. ...read more
This property is now under new management, We have recently visited this property 'Istana' and found it to be a well presented very clean and comfortable holiday home. The views are fantastic, the beach is a rocky reef beach and great for snorkelling, finding crabs, exploring, there are sandy beaches close by. Istana is certainly worth a lot more than $90 per night! I notice the above comment says 14 days ago, it has been under new management since before Christmas and our visit was during January so I do believe it is a much older review than we are led to believe. We certainly have no hesitation in re-booking this property again, it was so relaxing, clean and had everything we needed for our holiday. Sharyn
