ordered a new motherboard from these people. got a phone call telling me that the board would be coming straight from manufacturer and they didn't have any boxes left for that model so it would be sealed and include the backplate but in a different box. it arrived on time but i found it was a used board (thermal paste everywhere and bent pins on the audio socket). called them up about it. first person i spoke to denied it was used and claimed i was lieing. second person said that they had already told me that it was an ex demo board which is untrue. I complained and they agreed to give me $70 refund as i paid for a new board and received a used (and damaged) board. was told this money would be transferred that day but would take around 3 days to process. two and a half weeks later still no money put in my account. rang them back, find out that they only processed it 3 days ago and the amount had been changed from the agreed upon $70 to $40. when i ...read more
Use these guys on average once a week. Never had any problems, they call you when stock is in when you backorder and the prices are really cheap. I recommend all my friends to use them. Also when I have ordered the wrong product or received a faulty item they have replaced it straight away.
Even though these guys have some of the best prices around, They will not live up to warranty standards. Last couple of times I had issues with one of their generic tablets, they would not give me a refund for a clearly faulty item. So I lost $180.00 upon returning a dead tablet, then had to fork out to buy a new one else where.
Their service is some of the worst I have encountered to the point of being very arrogant towards me!!
Save yourself the drama and spend the extra 10 - 20 dollars somewhere else
If you're after value for money IT Parts and technology, IT Estate is the place to go. Their service may not be the best, but compared to other stores their prices are hard to beat. Their website www.itestate.com.au is up to date and you can always call to find out of a product is in stock.
