Italy At Jannali

Great food. Lovely people. Thanks for cooking my dinner .

I have never complained about a restaurant before but this was just terrible.

We were not told at the time of booking that it is no longer an italian restaurant, when complaining that our food was bad we were told that its not longer an italian restaurant and thats why the italian food was bad.

The chicken was a basic chicken breast with some tomato paste on top and a soggy little potato that tasted like it had be heated in a microwave.

The tuna was a tiny little piece with half a baby bok choy. We were offered no apology and were told they didn't agree with us. That was after the manager refused to speak to us until we said we weren't paying for some of the meal as it was so bad.

And lastly they no longer serve pizza, would have been better off going to the take away next door, they make amazing pizza.

Had a feast of pizza's for a large table and it was all delicious.. The food was served in a timely manner which my kids were very happy about, and i loved the variety of pizza's , something for everyone thats for sure. It's byo wine AND beer how great is that!!.. The staff was lovely as we were a giggly bunch but he handled us all with very good humour. We were the last to leave but never felt rushed at all Oh and the warm mud cake and ice cream mmmmmmmm yummo! will be back again soon ..

Best local restaurant i've come across in many years. The food has always been fantastic, such great value for money, in other words so cheap for the quality of food they serve. Service has always been great, the staff are friendly and always remember you. The only complaint i've had is the service used to be quite slow from the kitchen, esp on weekends, Which im told is because everything is made fresh on the spot. However the main reason im leaving this review, is they have just recently openend a new shop for all their takeaways and deliveries, and it has definatley made a difference. The food is much quicker, and the place even seem quiter without the phones ringing all night. Was their last saturday night, and we all had a fantastic time, the place was packed and i got my fantastic Steak as always on time!! Anyway i promised the manager i would spread the word, so there it is! i highly recommend Italy at Jannali.

I rated poorly as I've had multiple bad experiences with this place. About 6 months ago, we had a metal screw in our pasta. The chef came out and explained it had fallen from a pot handle and they hadn't noticed.



We went back next week, found a metal shaving in the same pasta order. Told the waiter, the same chef comes over and remembers us from last time. Was ...read more
