Ivanhoe Tavern Charcoal Grill Steakhouse

So disappointed! Way too pricey for fairly tasteless steak, small entres, boring sides and bad dessert wine. Lost our order then got it wrong and even though they gave my steak for free, gave mediocre chips to make up for it. Lumpy, watery 'creamy mash' as a side for every dish, and the WORST excuse for chocolate Mousse I have ever seen: was more like vaguely chocolaty custard, runny and not airated at all. Do not intent to return.

Yum! A display fridge full of the best cuts of meet, the apparently family run Tavern needs the decor dragged sternly out of the 80's but service is excellent and prices are reasonable for the outstanding steaks, lamb cutlets and chivaps. Expect about $35 for a main but only $10 more for an entree and dessert. Highly recommended for carnivores!
