We came to Anton Motors for a RWC on our Mitsubishi Pajero before selling it, purely because we were staying next door at the camp site and it was conveniently located. We had no idea what to expect, and it turned out we needed a few repairs done to make the car roadworthy. Peter was so thorough with his check of the car and kept us informed every step of the way, when it turned out that the car needed to be kept in overnight Peter even lent us a tent to stay in until the car was fixed. Although we did end up paying more than we anticipated, Peter did everything possible to keep the costs low and get the work done as quickly and efficiently as possible. As a traveler from abroad I’m on a tight budget, so when my car broke down and turned out to be too expensive to repair, Peter did everything possible to get me another car and do repairs, and he even let me use a rental car for free! Even though he had a busy schedule, Peter and his team did everything they could to help me get back on the road. The new car runs smooth. Thanks, Peter, I owe you one!

I had a not so good experience, I had an old car, apparently needed a new head, was quoted about $1800, so trusted it to them, later on enquiring, they told me it would cost a bit more and went to great lengths to show me the shiny parts they were adding to the motor, I was a single part-time working mother of Teenage boys, who were learning to drive in the car, I said I just wanted a cheap job, cheap parts because the car would probably be smashed by learners and I couldn't afford much.

I was charged $2300 for this so called wonderful everlasting motor. As this mechanic was close by and seemed ok for buying tyres, I would go there for tyres, one day they suggested I leave the car there for the tyres to be rotated. I would highly recommend Peter and the staff at Anton Motors. He is one of the best motor mechanics that I have dealt with and is very trustworthy. He is very committed and passionate to his business and to his customers. He is always courteous and does a very thorough, professional job. He offers good advice and is very honest and I have no hesitation in recommending him to look after your vehicle

On Friday 13 December we went to the mechanic J&P Anton Motors - Camperman Australia pick-up & drop-off point in Coburg, Melbourne.

We asked them to fix the timing belt on our van and to have a look whether the engine was running OK. They took the car for a test drive and told us to come back in the evening.



When we arrived around 6pm, the engine was completely disassembled. Something we did not ask for. The mechanic of J&P Anton Motors gave us two options: either we'd have to pay $350 to push the car back onto the street or they'sd fix it and we'd have to pay over $1800.

We had no other option other than to pay, although some parts were not broken in the beginning. For example they told us we needed a new radiator, but we drove more than 1400km with the old one, without overheating the engine.



We ended up having to pay over $2350 for a car that is not properly fixed.
