Popped in for a quick and cheap dinner with friends. The meals were huge - we shared two dishes between the three of us and had a pork bun each and still couldn't finish it all. Plus it was delicious! It cost less than one meal at most other restaurants we went past. Yes, it's not as fancy as other places around here. But it's basically a Chinese Takeaway and Restaurant, but looks more like a food court than an old, tacky restaurant.
Quick service at this restaurant but apart from that it's not a favourite unfortunately. The dining room feels like a food court with cheap tables and chairs and bright lighting. Have been here a couple of of times and on both occasions have felt a bit off afterwards. I don't know if maybe they use MSG in the cooking? They do usually have a deal on offer through so a meal can work out pretty cheap e.g.: spend $20 and get a bowl of wings.
Although shiny, modern and quick, this eatery lacks ambience and flavour. Its a good spot for lunch time with colleagues or dining alone. There's widescreen tvs to keep you amused. It is often busy, open late and suits a budget. Unfortunately, the budget price equates to fast food quality - the flavour, consistency and choice leaves something to be desired, compared to the various other Chinese restaurants in the inner city region. I often find some of the meals to have a watered down feel to them. On the other hand, the portions are definitely not snack sized and the cleanliness of this place rates a 5.
