One of my kids and I were out and about on weekend. We found ourselves with some time to spare so we stopped in at Jacobs Bakery, Brendale.
The place was quite busy with 5-6 people lined up, but the ladies behind the counter acknowledged us and the line moved along quickly. The lady who served me was very polite and friendly. My only disappointed was she didn't have a name badge on as I like to thank people by their names.
My child ordered a caramel, chocolate slice which she declared between mouthfuls was delicious! I purchased a flat white which was quite milky for my personal taste, but still enjoyable. We sat outside and watched the world go by. Very enjoyable afternoon! Easy parking too.
Second visit ~ still recommend!
Wandered into Jacob's bakery while waiting for my hubby who had an appointment near by, what a nice surprise! Clean and nice looking bakery with lots to choose from! Smells good too ! The kids and I made some selections and sat in the morning sunshine and polished off our delicious treats ! Also grabbed a loaf of lovely fresh bread while pondering when I can come back and try one of the hot pies on display in their oven !! Highly recommend !
On a weekend trip recently we stopped in here to sample their wares. I enjoyed a chunky steak pie. It was absolutely delicious, am getting hungry just thinking about it.
Real chunks of steak encased in a beautiful pastry. Kids all polished off their pies and/ or sausage rolls, so a big hit all round!
Store is presented well, clean and tidy. Friendly customer service. Parking is easy too.
