Jacob's Creek Visitor Centre is absolutely beautiful. The greenest grass you've ever seen, coupled with the view that makes your jaw drop. The service however was less than ideal with a full bar and a lack of employees to cater for the busy holiday season. Jacobs Creek is a household name and no doubt have great wine, but I would recommend spending your time visiting smaller wineries if you're visiting
This is one of the neatest wineries in the Barossa, I really like the way it's been laid out. The entry in is really scenic too, and the whole area is quite airy. The actual tasting area is a little bit small given the size of the area, and the staff are only 'just friendly enough', could be a bit keener to show the hospitality of the Barossa. Unfortunately their cellar door prices are also more expensive than can be found at pretty much any bottle shop so there's no benefit there.
My wife and I love Jacobs Creek and have been buying the Riesling for many years. We visited the Barossa Valley for the first time in December and one of our highlights were to go to Jacobs Creek.
