The Park is approximately a 10 minute drive off the Pacific Highway through scenic countryside with endless fields of sugar cane. The Park is also popular with the native wildlife including dozens of colourful lorikeets who wait in the many trees amongst the Park each afternoon for their daily feeding. The park managers are very friendly and welcoming. The cabins are clean and well-appointed and have all the crockery, cutlery, cooking utensils, pots, pans, etc, that might be needed. The toilet and laundry block are clean. The location is absolutely beautiful, right on the water at Jacobs Well. It really is an oasis at the end of the canefields.
