Jade Stream Chinese Restaurant

We've eaten in once when friends suggested it. The service was ordinary and the food very bland. A year or so later we decided to try to get takeaway. They make it impossible to order takeaway over the phone. We've given them enough chances. I have tried twice to place an order over the phone. Both times the person who took the call asked me to hold the line, put the phone down and promptly forgot about me. I could hear them talking to customers but after waiting longer than anyone should have to (both times) I hung up. Of course, because the phone was off the hook neither I, nor anyone else, could ring them. Wonder how many orders they lost as a result.

My partners family order take away from here every week. I used to like it but a few months ago decided to eat in. The service was appalling and good very bland compared to what we were used to from there and food sizes significantly smaller and more expensive. After a disappointing meal as we were sitting there after paying, the management rudely informed us that they had forgotten to charge us for one can of coke and that we would need to pay and hovered over us! Mind you, we had given a tip of $5 on top of our bill! (My partner tips every where) I informed them that they could take it out of the tip we had given them, that we wouldn't be back and promptly left. They still ended up with approx $2.20 tip after taking money out for the coke so I don't know why they looked so p****d off when we left! Home delivery very quick, food very tasty and plenty of it. 60.00 dollars for 5 dishes not badly priced

Don't like Chinese food, but this took me by surprise they make wonderful food, the service is great, the staff are friendly and welcoming.

Food was great..pity they dont deliver in tarneit...
