modern double brick cafe. 4 tables outside front on street front with clear cafe blinds to block wind/rain , window bench seat inside. meduim size cafe. had the chicken burger $20 with avo, slaw, bacon but unhealthy with brioche bun and chips. brioche slider trio $18 available with pulled pork and apple slaw, lamb and chipolte chicken. a salmon omelette was on specials board this weekend. bonsy lattes great. cabinet with ready made salads and sandwiches
the food is very expensive (breaky/lunch dishes closer to $20 than $15) but coffees are great. soup of the day was creamy pumpkin with s/dough but $13 for soup is well over pricd especially for a simple ingredeint soup like pumpkin. we had the s/avo with quionoa, 2 p/eggs, fetta which was abit tasteless as quinoa needs alot of other tastes with it and s/avo is served by so many cafes now for such a long time. we also had the corn fritters with chutney which was tasty but also pricey for size
A modern cafe in the Malvern East region. Very close to home, but with the quality of inner city cafes. The decor is beautiful and they are very popular during weekend lunch hours so come early! The service is hit and miss with some staff less experienced and polite. The menu is also quite limited but tasty, I recommend the mushrooms and harissa.
brilliant name for a cafe! we had the zucchini, corn and haloumi fritters with s/avo, tomato relish and s/cream $18 which was very nice although a but pricey for size (3 small fritters), my kids had the soup of the day, their favourute soup, potato and leek on the specials board which they enjoyed, great coffees and have bonsoy. open sundays. easy to park nearby
