Took my daughter there for her 15th Birthday to learn about brunch! Couldnt have chosen anywhere better to go. Easter Sunday, Busiest day I reckon. Booked online. Welcomed at door, seated immediatedly. Treated like queens from start to finish! i reckon they have hand picked every employee because they have something very special about them! The food was lovely. We didnt wait long for it, we were not rushed or pressured. The most delightful experience for a young girl learning the niceties in life. And guess what else!!! Affordable!!!! We will be back. You know a good Cafe when it is always full!!! Booking online was a sinch!!! Im not savvy with that and it was a breeze here!!! Will do it again and again and again! You wont be disappointed!!!!
Jam corner on Palmer - dining alone I got to sit and watch the traffic; although you can hear the traffic - it's right there at the lights sitting outside, it's a people watching spot. Inside certainly has that romantic or good group feel. You can still hear the music and the feeling is just right.
Entree - Scallops fennel chestnut cream finger limes
Main- Salmon whole grain gnocchi cauliflower and Gris cream almond pickled daikon
Food great the scallops left you feeling you wanted a dozen more and the salmon although not pink in color was very good.
Drink - The Blossom cocktail. The first went down very calmly with out much effect - the second certainly made up for it. ...read more

Predominately black grey and white with contrasts in texture created by pressed metal around the bar and fabulous touches of damask wall paper and some very original cane based light shades. The dining chairs, one single piece of elegantly curved wood, add warmth and style as do the bench seats and cushions around the windows and several booths available. An ornate black mirror and a large white iron chandelier complete the look, To the side of the front counter, a stunning function/dining room is striking in its black and grey stripes, french chairs, and stunning silver mirror and chandelier. The Alfresco area also includes bench seat and cushions and a large table for groups. The function centre, which occupies the top floor has lavish decor of grey and black with brilliant reds featured in the wall paper, drapes and cushions. The verandah, hung ...read more
Thanks Trevor, so glad you enjoyed your time dining at Jam Corner. Your review does mean a lot to the me and the crew, especially coming from someone who truly has experienced dining all around the country, you obviously have a very good understanding about the industry.
We hope to see you back at Jam soon.
kind regards
Matt Merrin
