This is such a great little country pub. There's so much atmosphere and such a fun vibe, that I'd recommend it to anyone passing through Jamberoo for anything from a quick beer in the quirky front bar (usually full of footy teams and tradies but friendly enough folk), to a relaxed family dinner in the dining room or an evening watching and listening to locals getting up and showing off their skills on open mic night. The food is basic but good, hearty pub grub, and prices are pretty reasonable for what you get. A quiet afternoon beer on the benches out the front is one of the best ways to soak up the vibe of this gorgeous little country town, and watch its comings and goings. I've never been for the "bush bands" on Sunday afternoons but they sound pretty fun. A really good, Victorian-style country pub, full of character and plenty of characters.
