Jasons Food & Wine

This place is now Called Down The Hatch and could not be more different from the old Jasons wine bar.... Absolutely lovely little bar - just what joondalup needs. Staff are friendly and it always has a lovely atmosphere. Been for drinks with both the girls and my partner. Havent eaten here yet but im dying to try it out!!

Would never eat at this place again!!! Went there with a group of friends for my birthday last weekend. Whilst the meals were reasonably tasty, there wasn't a lot of food on the plate for what you were paying for it. So value for money was seriously lacking. I ordered the scotch fillet which was nicely cooked but full of fat and gristle (about a third of the steak I left!) I bought this to the attention of the staff when they cleared the table and said I wasn't happy with it. Staff said they would let the kitchen staff know and get back to me. They didn't get back to me, in fact no-one did. If I hadn't taken the money up to pay the bill for our table the management would have just ignored my complaint ...read more
