My daughter and I drove from the Gold Coast to Rosewood to adopt Diamond. On arrival at `Jaws `N` Paws` we were warmly welcomed by Jenny and her family and absolutely fell in love with Diamond (Staffy x Ridge-back). It was obvious that Jenny provides the best care possible for her rescue animals (as vet paperwork also proved) and in addition to this she ensures that all her animals feel very loved. Diamond has proved to be the most happy, loyal and protective companion excelling in all facets of dog training and obedience skills thanks to Jenny`s groundwork. I would definitely recommend adopting a pet from Jenny at `Jaws `N` Paws` as she is definitely `the dog and cat whisperer of Rosewood` who also gives you a spot on dog personality profile plus invaluable rehoming tips - move over Cesar Milan!
I adopted my dog from Jaws & Paws one year ago. He is the most beautiful natured, healthy & loving little dog, who has become the love of my life. I was so impressed with the work that Jaws & Paws were doing & was so thankful that they saved my little boy from disaster, allowing him to have the wonderful life that he now has. I also completely disagree with the first review, as I could not recommend Jaws & Paws more highly. For an organisation with no government funding, it is clear to see that the work that they put in comes straight from the heart & their sincere love of animals.
Jaws and paws are doin a great job at wat they are do so I disagree with wat yu are sayin I have personal got 2 animals from them and they are fine and health and nothing wrong with them and I love them I am happy that I could help them by take two animals so they can help others
I honestly feel that the first review is purely and simply slander. I have had several experiences with this organisation and i have seen exactly where the animals have come from. I also know that the staff of this organisation would not rehome an animal that has the problems that you have described. I visited the organisation at the time tiger was under their care and i can tell you now that he did not have fleas or ringworm when he left, if he had had ringworm then the staff and other cats would have it as well. It is part of the organisations policy that the animals are flead and wormed before they are rehomed and they certainly would not rehome an animal with a staph infection. I am well aware of the issues tiger had with his eyes as i had seen him in recovery, most organisations would not have spent hundreds of dollars on one particular animal. The people of this organisation are purely and simply trying to do the right thing and for someone to come along and give them ...read more
I feel I just have to let you know what happened with Tiger as it has been one of the hardest experiences I have been through, sadly when I got Tiger from you he was as you know he was covered in fleas, bites, Staph Infection, chronic eye issues mainly from the one of which was operated on and also the other one of which also had an ulcer for a lot longer than a few days as you told me.
Tiger also had a genetic eye disorder of which his eyelid curled under causing irritation and pain, again which any vet would have also told you. Sadly, on top of all of this Tiger also was covered in ringworms, which obviously had also been an extremely obvious ongoing issue with hair missing etc. We over the past few ...read more
