Jaycar Electronics

For a while I never noticed these places, that is until I suddenly found my Dad popping into them left right and centre. Okay, I won’t say they are everywhere, but they are pretty convenient. Basically, if you are an electronics enthusiast then you can generally find what you want here, though they do tend to be somewhat pricier than elsewhere. However, they do have a pretty decent range, and even have some electronics kits, if you want to play around with things that is.

Bloody good store! My go-to for electronics project supplies and gadgets. Always something new and fun. Staff are consistently awesome.

Look I'm not going to repeat what MrT just said.... But yes so recommend over any other electronics distributer.... However I would like to say that the staff at this particular JayCar store are.... Awesome! Been back many times just for the friendly and helpful service!

Jaycar is a great alternative to Dick Smith Electronics. In fact, this particular store is just a store or two away from Dick Smith.



Jaycar is cheaper and caters more for the serious electronics enthusiast. They sell kits, components, audio-visual accessories and also electronic toys and gadgets.



The staff are often quite sulky unfortunately.
