I came with my family because there was a scoopon deal and we ordered the Aussie bbq grill (steak,chicken,sausage and bacon) which comes from a different menu. The meat was utterly disgusting, it had no taste and is the lowest quality meat i have ever had. The steak was not the actual steaks you'd expect in fact it was the complete opposite. It looked like the meat my mate feeds to his dog. The most dissapointing thing at JB's bar was that the sausages they served had gone off.
It was very obvious because it had a strong sour taste and also smelt funny. My word of advice to future customers: do not order the Aussie bbq grill.
The appearance and atmosphere of this bar might make you want to run 100 miles in the opposite direction, but the food is actually okay. I had the Bruschetta and Soup of the Day. In both cases, the presentation was appalling, the toppings on the bruschetta were questionable but bread was fine and the soup was good. The roll that came with it wasn't, however - nicely warmed but far too doughy. Cocktails are a bit too challenging for this bar staff too, so don't bother trying to get one. Coffee is good.
