I discovered this café by accident some weeks ago when I was in the area. What a fantastic little café out in West Footscray, the kids had lots of fun in the back garden. Great atmosphere, kid’s friendly café. The staff were friendly and efficient. We ordered two sandwiches and a bowl of chips, all went down very well with two lattes. I highly recommend this café for those looking for a great place to have a bite to eat, additionally a place that is kids friendly environment which is always good when you have children and need a place that supports that!
Jellybread is an inviting cafe, and famous breakfast haunt on the very bustling Barkly Street, in WestFootscray. I really enjoy the personalised and unpretentious service here. The coffee is very good too. The backyard is perfect to bring the kids and pets to and the service is simply delightful. I came here for breakfast with my sister in law and my niece and found that there were lots of fun stuff to keep kids occupied (guinea pigs were a hit!) plus great food, and also excellent coffee for the adults. Something for everyone really. Lots of parking on the side streets nearby as well
Got to love Jellybread. Probably the only few cafes i feel comfortable to enjoy my meal while my son is busy doing his own thing. Jellybread would have to me my top rated kids friendly cafe. Enjoying brunch with friends on a beautiful Sunday morning. Breakfast serving is massive and reasonable price. The presentation of the dishes look really well out together which made me enjoy every bite of it. Staff were very accommodating ensuring our table had high chairs and that the kids would eat their meals with plastic cutlery, bowls or plate. Not sure if i mentioned this before but one of the very few places i know that allow split bill.
One of the many few places that allows parents to sit and enjoy breakfast or lunch while their kids are in a safe and friendly environment. Jellybread has a retro diner look to it and in one corner of the cafe is a kids area with toys and books which keeps the kids busy for the duration that you are dining. At times my son doesn't want to leave. On a good sunny day, eating in the backyard of this cafe in the open grass area really sets a family safe environment. An outdoor play area with tables and chairs to enjoy your meals and at the same time within distance be able to overlook your kid. The have little guinea pigs in which the kids can feed and watch. And most kids i have seen are very well behaved and friendly towards each other. Food is great and reasonable in size and price. Not many cafes out there that cater for families with kids. Jellybread is one to always return to especially on a weekend for a family breakfast or lunch day out. Kids seems happy in this environment.
