I would like to say a big thankyou to Jendar Designs... I was stuck with ideas for renovating my house so I called Jendar... Jenny from Jendar was very professional and extremely helpful with designs and colour choices... She organised my entire renovation and was there every step of the way. We couldn't be happier with the results and service... Thanks again I would recommend Jendar to anyone.
I would not recommend Jendar Designs, They were unreliable and was told to go and purchase all fittings once done. They were contacted and I was given the last quote and was told it would be started in approximately three weeks after call. They would not contact me after numerous emails and text messages once I got hold of them after 6 weeks they up the quote by $2000. I was left with a bathroom reno which I had all the fittings but not trades persons to fit them and had to find my own. Do not trust them they are all nice and friendly up front then all changes when the time comes to complete the job.
In response to this, Jendar Interior Design were the only company to turn up and quote. Due to the client wanting to not spend much money on the bathroom renovation as it was in the back shed, they were happy to purchase there own products to save some money. Due to circumstances the first tradesman was unable to work on this job so another was arranged which needed to quote the job. Came in a bit more expensive but a quote is a quote. The job had NOT been accepted at this stage. I struggle to understand this review, as all emails and calls were responded to when we were available to do so.
In response to JAD69 comment they were not the only ones to turn up and give a quote. I was told to by their management to go and purchase my own toilet, hand basin and shower accessories due to the time restraint and it would be a lot cheaper for me to do. They did not reply to my messages or emails as they had a bigger job to do and had lost a tradie ( I wonder why). I believe if you commit to a project you don't double the quote just so the client has to decline because you don't have enough guts to say the job is too small for you to do.
Contrary to this review Jenny D did an excellent job on our townhouse in Hamilton, NSW - 2008/2009. When we sold 18 months later we received a record price for our block - in main because of her design. Her work men were always prompt and their work was of an excellent standard. We would use Jendar in the blink of an eye. I suspect the negative review reflected an expectation of a lot of work for a small budget !
Sorry I'm very late replying to this, just came across this review listing once again. 2travellers, the budget was in the vicinity of $200k. I had a Sydney company quote for the same amount, but went with them to support a local business.
I would speculate that they are capable of smaller residential projects, but struggled progressing to larger commercial projects.
Hopefully this has improved in recent years and now they're back in business after their financial troubles.
