Jerky House

If you are in the mood for some traditional Chinese beef jerky then this is the place! The place sells fresh, traditional Chinese Berk jerky available in honey or chilli flavour. My favour is the pork jerky in honey flavour. This place is a must try when you are in Chinatown.

One of those stores to visit when in china town. Jerky house has been around for ages and they stock the best asian jerky and sweets known. The sour plums and mangoes are also a favourite. Good to pop in once in a blue moon to pick up all time classics. Jerky house stocks a great variety of jerky's and the best i find is the beef one that is spicy. Bit pricey but paying for a bit of quality makes up for it.

One of my all time favourite shop. Its like putting a kid into a candy shop just wondering all along the aisle not knowing where to start and what to pick as each and every one of them looks good, different, colourful, unusual, smells different. I usually find it hard to decide what I want and end up pacing up and down the lanes. Or the contrast of thinking that I know what I want and end up buying something else. This place is just in the arcade of Bourke Street Arcade. They seem to sell everything from, chicken and beef jerky in delicious flavours including Curry Beef Jerky Slice, Curry Beef Jerky Cubes, Crispy Pork, Chilli Pork Jerkey, Honey Pork Jerky, Chilli Chicken Jerky, Chilli Beef Jerky, the list goes on (and on).
