Terrible experience. First they tell you just how much they don't need your business because they have so many orders backed up, then they treat you in a consistent fashion with this - they do not get back to you in a timely way or at all, they have someone in the office make an appointment for you that is not put through to the person attending the appointment and they do not bother to get back to you to say the appointment is not in fact available, then when you query the entire run around, they say "They're stepping away from the job." And before this, they said to my husband when he asked about timing that they could not indicate timing because some installers are much better than others. So after this headache, you sign up to another at the installation stage because they wash their hands of you once their marketing is done. If you could provide specific details of installer we will follow up. Usually if we refuse business it is because the installation of the particular product could not be installed to function properly. We do not wish to have an unhappy customer with a product that does not satisfy their needs.
Dean provided the lack lustre service, making an appointment with our installer, failing to communicate with the installer, then saying it was tentative when the installer's PA spoke to me the day before the appointment saying they knew nothing of it. Then we I called Dean, he says the company is stepping away from the job rather than simply apologising to me and saying I forgot to get in touch with the installer, follow up and let you know that the date wasn't available or taking responsibility in any way. Just appalling.
Lovely service shame about the product which failed to light the first winter after we had it installed (we had it installed in summer as they couldnt fit us in) we are now onto our second winter and again failed to light - had it fixed at our own cost! and again two weeks later same problem. Do not buy. We previously bought a gas fireplace for our previous house and had no problems with it at all over 7 years. Wish we had stuck to that brand.
I'm not surprised. There is no co-ordination between the sales and installers so if you have a problem, one will simply blame it on the other.

We have a service department that will fix any gas fire under warranty from 18 months after purchase. If this service was not supplied to you please advise and we will pay for any service performed within this period. All gas fireplaces can require servicing It is important to diagnose the problem and rectify. We would be happy to offer a free on site visit to ascertain what the problem is so that we can rectify once and for all. We have tens of thousands of fireplaces working properly. Fantastic Service Ron who installed our two gas fireplaces did an amazing job. He installed them better than I thought and was clean and polite. I would recommend Ron to install your fireplaces. More than happy I am an interior designer and they have finished our lounge room off to perfection. Our fireplaces had to be installed in to sandstone fireplaces from 1860 and look totally in keeping. Thanks Ron
