I find it weird that the locals don't support this place better. When I've been, it was nearly empty, though the places in the area at street level are full. I've eaten throughout Manuka and the Jewel of India is far better than most of the neighbours.
If you want a treat of good indian food, make the effort to come here. The staff & curries are great quality.
