We booked Jewel's services in November 2020 for our wedding in November 2021 for a relatively large sum. Obviously with recent events in Sydney (in September 2021) and the restriction on number of guests at the wedding, we decided to scale down our wedding and cancel the reception.
Imagine our shock and horror when we communicated our request for a revised quote and reduction of flowers and styling and Damien acting on behalf of Jewel Phon Flowers advised that we were ONLY allowed to postpone or cancel and forfeit our large deposit. Of course, we could also continue and bear the full cost of the original quote – flowers and decorations meant for a ceremony and reception for 150 guests to be spent on the 50 guests (we are now allowed under the law) attending a very simple ceremony.
