We were a bit worried about the reviews on here when we booked JHA but we are so glad we did. The inspector we had was great and saved us a load of money. I thought that he was very thoughtful in the way he treated us and let us know what he was doing as I thought we would be in the way. He didn't leave a stone un-turned and we managed to get the price down with the faults that he picked up. I would book JHA again and recommend them - no problems.
A pest and building inspection should be carried out under strict guidelines with relevance to the properties age and comparison to other properties of similar build in surrounding area. All structural defects and hazards must be pointed out and a buyer should be made aware. I have recently read a pest and building inspection carried out buy Jha and I was extremely disappointed with what I read. Firstly Many comments where made off the cuff for example things appear to be a certain way.(in the building industry if something is not level or plum then it's not, not appears to be) I also found many mistakes in regard to what jha deem compliant/ non compliant and what the building codes state,which can be supplied by qbsa or master builders accossiaton.
