Nice location however one of the staff was extremely rude. she clearly was not in the mood of serving people or meeting new clients. I ordered coffee and she said in a very rude way that they don't serve coffee downstairs and we have to go upstairs. i has my elderly parents with me who were tired and asking them to go upstairs was not a good idea. i asked if we could order upstairs and have the coffee downstairs and she said no, we have to go upstairs. however I noticed that there were coffee cups on other tables downstairs and I asked another staff who was much more polite and she assured me that we were welcome to order and have coffee downstairs. this place might be good but I wouldn't return there and wouldn't recommend it as being treated in such a rude way leaves a very bad taste and ruins the mood for the evening.

Nice looking cafe located in the middle of Queen Street mall, distinguished by climbing greenery. The coffee is their own roast and I found the takeaway cappuccino on the bitter side.

Its a Queen Street Mall institution having been around for so many years now. They've done well to renovate and keep up with the ever changing stores around Queen Street and its always a lovely spot to sit, have a drink and some food and people watch.

Jimmy's renovation gave the place a much-needed freshen up - it's just a shame they didn't freshen up the menu too. The food is far too variable for them to be able to perfect one good thing, and it's pretty over-priced for what is genuinely pretty average food. They're always busy and the service has never been disappointing, but unfortunately that's all they have going for them.

This is a good place to choose of you're hungry and need something reasonably substantial. You'll get anything from a steak, pasta or fish to burgers, toasted sandwiches and salads. Most things are served with chips and in reasonable portions, not gigantic. The day I was here it wasn't super busy, but although table service was reasonably quick, the food took a while to come, so it's not great if you want a quick lunch. The people watching is good. Overall, it's quite a good place.
