Although all equipment is made to withstand extreme conditions, it is important to service them. It is equally important that all EXTINGUISHERS, HOSE REELS, SMOKE ALARMS and FIRE BLANKETS are tested and tagged, whether they are fixed or portable. i.e. attached to a corridor or are on the move. Dirt and foreign particles caught in the seals and nozzles, or basic wear and tear can cause the equipment to malfunction during an emergency.
