Jiu Jitsu Kingdom

Jiu Jitsu Kingdom has become a part of my life. Being the only female in my classes, it was pretty daunting training at the beginning. Felipe (and all the guys I train with) helped me to feel comfortable and safe during training and eventually it came to the point where I couldn't get enough of it. The relaxed atmosphere of the gym adds to the enjoyment of training.



Felipe is able to spend time in each class to help the students who are struggling with a particular technique (usually me) and adjust it so that it works exactly how it should. Not only during class, but after class, Felipe and the other students will spend their time to help me practice the techniques I have recently learnt or am struggling with. Felipe's encouragement, passion and knowledge of Jiu Jitsu and self defence help his students to remain enthusiastic and continue to grow.

Jiu Jitsu kingdom has SAVED MY LIFE and more than once.

I have been training as a student of Felipe's for some years now. His genuine integrity, good nature and passion for Jiu Jitsu still continue to inspire me every time I train.
