Joe is a fantastic personal trainer, mentor and all around good guy. I came to Joe's about November 2012, wanting to lose some of my body fat that I had gained due to lack of exercise but even more so due to lack of motivation and confidence. The classes have so much variety, including weight lifting, conditioning, boxing and more. Joe made me feel part of the class and even though the classes were tough, he motivated me to stick to it, and helped me gain back my confidence and I started to get real results. The atmosphere of Joes gym is supportive, positive, friendly, personalized, motivating and fun! I highly recommend it.

First and only gym I have ever stuck at for longer than a couple of weeks - always hated them, far too busy, impersonal and overwhelming. Joe's classes are hard, but the people are very friendly and supportive and it doesn't feel at all like a traditional gym. Definitely recommended.

I had never been able to stick at any sort of fitness until I met Joe - I am pretty sure the reason that I am still around are the people. Joe is very knowledgeable and undoubtably one of Australia's finest PTs - but thats not it - its the person he is and therefore the people he attracts that motivate me and keep me coming back.

I've been a member for only 10 weeks - worked out almost 5 days a week and it's made an amazing difference. Every day is a different session. Weights one day, boxing the next, running another. The sessions are fun, hard work (a little competitive to keep you going) and best of all Joe is very focussed on making sure you lift properly, warm and up and avoid injury. I've been to Gyms before but never seen the transformation that joining Joes Garage has achieved. Classes are max 12 people but mostly around 6 - 8 people which is a great group to keep you company and challenge you to push a little bit harder - which I now understand is when the change in your body happens. Would recommend Joes to anyone who really wants to get fit, has little time or finds it hard to get motivated. Joe will get you into shape...

Best gym I have ever experienced. Joe and his team are all very personable, positive,supportive and knowledgeable. The trainers along with other gym members genuinely work as a team to help people meet their goals and better their achievements. Great variety of classes and session times. Highly recommended.
